Sites, Adams earn top honors

Tyler Sites and Nolan Adams were named to the Free Lance Star’s Athletic Honor Roll for the week of 2/2. 

Tyler had a dominating performance on Friday 1/30, breaking a six year old school record in the 100 Breaststroke.  He narrowly broke the record by .04 which was previously held by Jon Hooe in 2003.  He also claimed his 44th career victory in the 100 Fly, just missing the state championship cut by .01.  He finishes the season undefeated.

Nolan Adams walked away with two victories on 1/30 in the 50 and 100 Freestyle events.  He remains undefeated in the 50 Free this season going into the district championships this Friday.  He has made his state cut in that event as well.

The Chargers will compete in the Battlefield District Championships this Friday, February 6th at The University of Mary Washington.  The Chargers ladies will try to capture their second championship in school history, while the guys compete for their first championship.  The meet will begin at 7:15.
